More than a pair of jump leads
Consumer jump leads can damage modern ECUs. We use a current-limited booster designed for start-stop and hybrid 12-volt systems, then confirm the charging voltage before we leave.
When a jump is not enough
If the battery will not hold a charge, or the starter is clearly failing, we tell you on the spot. You can then choose a recovery to a garage rather than being stranded again two streets later.
Start-stop, hybrid and EV 12-volt batteries
The 12-volt battery in a hybrid or EV still goes flat, and it still leaves you locked out of the car. We treat those systems as a specialist job, not a pair of crocodile clips on the terminals.
