Car Towing
A car that cannot, or should not, be driven. We tow it on a flatbed to wherever you need it.
Car towing is the unglamorous half of recovery: a failed MOT, a car with no insurance, an engine that has seized, or a vehicle you have just bought and do not yet trust on the motorway. We move it on a flatbed so none of the wheels turn and none of the systems are stressed.
When towing is the right choice
If the car has a transmission fault, a seized engine, no valid MOT for a public road, or you simply do not want it driven, towing is safer and often cheaper than a failed attempt to limp it home.
Short local tows and longer runs
A spec lift is sometimes enough for a two-mile hop across Reading. Anything further, or anything involving an automatic, a hybrid or an EV, goes on a flatbed. We decide that on the call, not at the roadside.
Private sales and auction cars
We regularly collect cars from private sellers, dealers and auction houses on behalf of buyers who do not want to drive an unknown vehicle home. The destination can be a different town. We quote that distance up front.
